    MEDIATION ‘FOR THE NATION’
    [A 90 DAYS CAMPAIGN]

    From 1st July, 2025 onwards, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) in association with Mediation & Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC), Supreme Court of India has launched the Special Mediation Drive – Mediation ‘For the Nation’, a 90 days’ Campaign to settle pending cases in all the Taluka Courts, District Courts and High Courts of India. The campaign has started under the aegis of Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India – Shri B. R. Gavai and Hon’ble Mr.Justice Surya Kant, Senior Most Judge, Supreme Court of India and Executive Chairman, NALSA.

    Under this campaign, with the aim of achieving maximum amicable settlement in applicable cases, efforts are ongoing to refer cases to mediation from the Honorable Courts. Publicity of the campaign has also been made through media in which parties are requested to put their pending cases pertaining to Matrimonial Disputes, Accident Claims, Domestic Violence, Cheque Bounce, Commercial Disputes, Service Matters, Criminal Compoundable cases, Consumer Disputes cases, Debt Recovery cases, Partition cases, Eviction cases, Land Acquisition cases, and other suitable civil cases to mediation in the courts for amicable settlement.

    The Union territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority appeals all the litigants to visit the nearest Mediation Centre (District Mediation Centre, Puducherry, Taluk Mediation Sub-Centres at Karaikal & Yanam), at the earliest, to get their dispute resolved by way of amicable settlement through mediation and make this drive successful.
